We’re glad you found the Waite Park Community Garden!

How do I get a plot?

Each spring the garden opens registration for new gardeners. Garden plots are allocated in a randomized fashion on a first-come / first served basis in this order – Waite Park neighborhood residents, Northeast residents, Minneapolis residents, and then residents of any other suburbs or city.

Registration for the 2025 season is open February 14 and closes March 16. Email wpccngmember@gmail.com if you’d like to apply for a plot.

If you missed this year and would like to be notified when registration opens next season, send a short email to wpccngmember@gmail.com letting us know.

More information about registration is on the Garden Policy page.

How much does it cost?

$35 membership fee and 6 hours of garden service per plot. Gardeners also agree to follow the Garden Policy.

What does membership include?

  • Assigned 12’x12′ (or equivalent) raised bed
  • Access to the garden irrigation system
  • Shared compost
  • Use of community shared tools
  • Share of community grapes, cherries, hops, and plums
