We’re glad you found the Waite Park Community Garden!
How do I get a plot?
Each spring the garden opens registration for new gardeners. Garden plots are allocated in a randomized fashion on a first-come / first served basis in this order – Waite Park neighborhood residents, Minneapolis residents, and then residents of any other suburbs or city.
Registration for the season opens February 1 and closes March 15. Registration is currently closed.
If you missed this year and would like to be notified when registration opens next season, send a short email to firstname.lastname@example.org letting us know.
More information about registration is on the Garden Policy page.
How much does it cost?
$25 membership fee and 6 hours of garden service per plot. Gardeners also agree to follow the Garden Policy.
What does membership include?
- Assigned 12’x12′ (or equivalent) raised bed
- Access to the garden irrigation system
- Shared compost
- Use of community shared tools
- Share of community grapes, cherries, hops, and plums
