We’re glad you found the Waite Park Community Garden!

How do I get a plot?

Each spring the garden opens registration for new gardeners. Garden plots are allocated in a randomized fashion on a first-come / first served basis in this order – Waite Park neighborhood residents, Minneapolis residents, and then residents of any other suburbs or city.

Registration for the 2024 season is open February 10 and closes March 10. Email wpccngmember@gmail.com if you’d like to apply for a plot.

If you missed this year and would like to be notified when registration opens next season, send a short email to wpccngmember@gmail.com letting us know.

More information about registration is on the Garden Policy page.

How much does it cost?

$35 membership fee and 6 hours of garden service per plot. Gardeners also agree to follow the Garden Policy.

What does membership include?

  • Assigned 12’x12′ (or equivalent) raised bed
  • Access to the garden irrigation system
  • Shared compost
  • Use of community shared tools
  • Share of community grapes, cherries, hops, and plums
